Mi mamá gifted me my very first muñequita quitapena (little doll that takes away worries) when eye was only 5 years old. It has the spirit of a Mayan deity, Ixmucané of the K'iche tribe which is mi mamá's tribe. Eye get these directly from the tribe. The sun god gifted Ixmucané with the gift of taking away people's worries. People usually purchase a bag of 7 and pick the one they want for each day of the week. You carry it around during the day and tell your worries to it while rubbing its belly to help alleviate the doll's pain of holding onto your worries. Then at night you put the doll under your pillow and when you wake up in the rising your worries are gone.
If you still have anybody else's old worry dolls in your house that they no longer use, bury it in a location you do not travel to.
